Abstract

This study explores the perceived therapeutic meanings and relational changes associated with a generative AI-integrated guided imagery meditation program based on Seon Master Daehaeng’s Hanmaum Ogong philosophy. Designed for middle-aged women facing existential anxiety and relational disconnection, this research employs a multiple-case study of six participants over eight sessions to examine their transformational experiences. The results are as follows: First, generative AI facilitates the visualization and objectification of the unconscious. Second, the shift toward autonomous self-perception reflects the values of Gongsaeng and Gongche. Third, intersubjective receptivity reconfigures relational patterns via Gongsim and Gongyong. Fourth, the circulation of life energy, based on existential connectivity and practical will, reveals a pathway to holistic subjectivity, internalizing the values of Gongche and Gongsik. By synthesizing traditional philosophy with cutting-edge technology, this research proposes a modern framework for counseling and meditation, broadening both academic and practical discourse.
