Abstract

Purpose: This study conducts a multi-perspective analysis of the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and extended reality (XR) into traditional meditation services across academic, market, and public dimensions. Methods: A five-stage scoping review (2017–2026) was performed using the PCC framework, complemented by environmental scanning of global market trends and big data social listening via network analysis. Results: The research categorized AI interventions into three levels—Passive Delivery, Reactive Adaptation, and Autonomous Generation—while identifying key market specifications and public discourse themes, including technological expectations and user resistance. Conclusion: A four-quadrant gap analysis model based on scientific evidence and marketability was proposed to visualize discrepancies among theory, industry, and perception, providing strategic directions and ethical considerations for the future development of digital meditation services.
